Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic treatment practised by a trained and qualified hypnotherapist. Hypnosis is the state that the client will experience whilst hypnotherapy then accesses that state for therapeutically beneficial purposes. Hypnosis is a very natural state of mind that we each experience every day. It is that very pleasant dreamy-drowsy state of mind, very similar to the feeling you might have when lying on a warm beach where you may feel detached and peaceful, however knowing you could open your eyes at any time should you need to but feeling too comfortable and relaxed to bother. Jayne Andrews Therapy WarringtonIt is a time where you can just allow yourself to relax and drift. During hypnosis, consciousness is not lost and you will be in control of all your actions, however you will be more aware of internal processes rather than the outside world’s distractions.

During your first session, hypnotherapy will be fully explained to you, however you can refer to the frequently asked questions section if you require any further information. Alternatively, please feel free to contact me to discuss any concerns or requirements you may have.
